Skin Boosters
Skin boosters don’t change your face - they change your skin. Hydration, glow, and texture from within.
What Are Skin Boosters?
Skin boosters are micro-injections of hyaluronic acid and other bioactive ingredients designed to improve skin hydration, elasticity, and texture from within. Unlike dermal fillers, which add volume or structure, skin boosters work at the cellular level to enhance skin quality and restore a youthful, radiant appearance.
Popular formulations include:
Profhilo® (ultra-pure hyaluronic acid)
Seventy Hyal 2000®
Jalupro® (amino acids + HA)
Polynucleotides (DNA fragments that stimulate fibroblast activity)
These treatments are ideal for patients seeking subtle rejuvenation without altering facial contours.
Benefits of Skin Boosters
Deep hydration and improved skin elasticity
Smoother texture and reduced crepiness
Enhanced luminosity and skin tone uniformity
Stimulates collagen and elastin production
Softens fine lines and superficial wrinkles
Suitable for face, neck, décolletage, and hands
Skin boosters are especially effective in areas where traditional fillers may be too heavy or inappropriate - such as under the eyes, around the mouth, or across the neck.
Treatment Protocol
Typically performed as a course of 2–3 sessions spaced 2-4 weeks apart
Maintenance treatments every 4–6 months to sustain results
Micro-injections are placed intradermally using a fine needle or cannula
Minimal discomfort; topical numbing cream may be used
Pre & Post Treatment Care
Pre-Treatment
Avoid alcohol, aspirin, and anti-inflammatories for 24 hours
Arrive with clean skin, free of makeup or active irritation
Clients currently taking isotretinoin (Accutane) or who have completed a course within the past 6–12 months should not undergo injectable treatments due to increased skin sensitivity and impaired healing
Post-Treatment
Mild redness, swelling, or pinpoint bruising may occur
Avoid makeup, heat exposure, and strenuous activity for 24 hours
No facials or skin treatments for 7 days
Results build gradually over 7–10 days, with optimal improvement seen after the full course is completed.
Who Is It For?
Skin boosters are suitable for:
Patients with dull, dehydrated, or fragile skin
Those seeking preventative anti-ageing treatments
Individuals with early signs of skin laxity or fine lines
Anyone wanting a fresh, radiant complexion without volume enhancement
This treatment is often used in combination with other modalities - such as anti-wrinkle injections or microneedling, for a multi-layered approach to skin rejuvenation.
