Hi! I’m Lindsey, the face behind The Skin Specialist. My skincare journey began at 20 when my once-clear skin suddenly broke out with persistent acne. My confidence plummeted, but looking back, it was the best thing that could have happened to me. It sparked a deep determination to understand the science of skin, what was happening and why.

Through extensive research, I discovered the power of professional skin treatments. I enrolled in an advanced skincare course, gained my qualifications, and I’m proud to say my skin is now the best it’s ever been.

Over the next five years, I dedicated myself to mastering my craft and expanding my expertise. I completed a VTCT Level 4 Laser Hair Removal course and multiple CPD accredited aesthetics courses, studying, completing assignments, and passing written and practical exams to ensure I could offer the highest standard of care.

I started off treating family and friends and quickly realised I had a real skill for it. That’s when I decided to open my services to the public and that’s how The Skin Specialist was born.

Fast forward a few years, and my client base has grown, my treatment list has expanded, and I’ve moved into a bigger space. I’m so excited to see what the next few years bring.
